Inscription on the back of the painting:
“Because it's somehow very easy for you to make me laugh so much that I write poems... Because then, with the fall of the curtain I start to miss you terribly... I tear my poems into small pieces of paper which I scatter into infinity. Because, in fact, I think I love you... But I won't admit it to myself."
Artist: Rada Lisichka
My creations are crafted from pebbles in their untouched state, as discovered along the seashore. The stones were found and collected by me on the Bulgarian shores of the Black Sea.
Each stone is firmly glued to the HDF base and to the neighboring stones. Before gluing, I carve grooves into the base under each stone for better grip, durability and strength. I use a very liquid glue that gets into the roughness of the stone and the grooves in the base. After drying, the figures acquire exceptional strength.
The frame is an integral part of the painting. It strengthens it by giving additional strength to the base. The frame is held in place with metal plates and glued, so it cannot be replaced.
